Emerging Leaders Alumni

EMERGING LEADERS ALUMNI

The United Way of Washington County Emerging Leaders Alumni group serves as a network of past members who have progressed in their careers or moved on to other endeavors. It is a community where former members can continue to stay connected, share experiences, and offer support. It encourages ongoing engagement with the organization, providing opportunities for development, networking, and giving back to the community. Essentially, it’s a platform for sustaining the impact and relationships built during their time as Emerging Leaders, while also contributing to the collective success and sustainability of the program.

HOW TO BECOME AN EMERGING LEADER ALUMNI

  • Be a Past Emerging Leader (three years of consecutive Emerging Leader membership immediately preceding alumni status)
  • Live or work in Washington County
  • Support the United Way annual campaign (volunteering at the campaign kick-off or financially contributing)
  • Pay annual membership fee of $26 (measured on an annual basis beginning January 1)
    • Your membership fee of $26 includes the cost of most events and will sponsor a child for a year in the Imagination Library program, providing them with 12 high-quality books at no cost to them. This small contribution can have a profound impact on a child's life, fostering a love for reading and learning from an early age. Your support helps ensure that children are ready for school, stay on track with their education, and ultimately succeed in life. The books provided through the Imagination Library program are more than just stories; they are tools that ignite imagination, build knowledge, and lay the foundation for lifelong learning.
