Thanks to everyone who came out and participated at Walk United!
Washington County school principals from Hartford, Kewaskum, Slinger, and West Bend have teamed up with the United Way to bring a unique event to the community: Walk United.
This county wide collective walk began in Hartford and Kewaskum, paraded through Slinger and West Bend, and united for a closing celebration at the Washington County Fair Park. Each principal, along with their students, walked to raise awareness and funds for the critical issues such as homelessness, hunger, and mental illness faced by many across our county.
We may be competitors in sports or academics, but this event offered an opportunity for collaboration across our schools.
United, we believe we can accomplish more than we can alone and fight for the health, education, and financial stability for EVERYONE in EVERY COMMUNITY.
